# Resource Permissions

Resource Permissions are individual permissions configured per application.

The same user can have different permissions for differentt application. For example, a user can have edit permission for one application and view-only permission for another application.

### Types of Resource Permissions

There are three types of Resource Permissions.

### Configure Resource Permissions

Resource Permissions are configured per application.

From the Nodes screen, select the target application and go to the application settings screen.

After navigating, select `Open Settings` on the Users card.

On the application access page, you can review the Resource Permission configuration status.

To assign new Resource Permissions, select `Add user` in the upper right of the screen.

Specify the target user and permission, then select `Add`.
